What is DiMM
DiMM is designed for doctors, nurses, and paramedics seeking to enhance their medical expertise in challenging mountain settings. UCLan offers advanced education in mountain medicine for doctors, nurses, and paramedics, available as a postgraduate diploma (PGDip) or master’s degree (MSc), with DiMM certification integrated into the program.
The PGDip program in Mountain Medicine includes four modules:
High Altitude Medicine and Mountain Emergency Medicine (40 credits)
Mountain Emergency Medicine in Winter Environments (20 credits)
